So when you understand that, you have a choice. The choice to stay on your comfort zone and you have a lot of advantage. You'll have the same life you had in the past with the same benefits. But if you don't like your-, the life you have today . . . or if you want to grow so much like me. I want to grow. I want to learn. I want to enjoy my evolution. I want to achieve my dreams. I want to surprise myself to do what I was thinking it was impossible. I want to discover the world, travel . . . so I decided to go outside my comfort zone. And what I love with that is the more you go outside your comfort zone, the more the outside will become comfortable because your comfort zone will start to grow, will start to be . . . the size will increase. So one day . . . and I love this idea . . . what was in uncomfortable for you would become comfortable. And one day, what is uncomfortable for the majority of people will be your comfort zone. For you . . . but for me, I was shy and sick. It was difficult to speak, difficult to erm . . . to speak with people, to love myself, to take action, to achieve dreams, to dream, to believe in me, to be self-confident. I struggled a lot. But one day I was thinking, okay, if just step by step I go outside my comfort zone each day. A little bit each time, a little bit each day. Maybe one day what was uncomfortable will become comfortable. And now I can say you that the majority of people . . . the uncomfort zone of the majority of people, is comfortable for me. It doesn't mean that I don't have uncomfort. It means that for the majority of the things I have to do in my day, it became comfortable.
Why? Because I broke the fear in taking action. Not in taking big action. Just in being . . . in doing just baby steps everyday to go a little bit outside of my comfort zone. When you understand that, each time you go outside your comfort zone, you are opening the unknown. Because each new experiences will create new disorder, new chaos for the brain. It because you don't know something, you will have to observe differently, to learn differently and you will be able to understand new things through the experiences. So the more you create experiences the more you will grow in your life. The more you create experiences of quality, the more you will grow in your life. The more you create new experiences of . . . and quality experiences through the learning of masters like them: Ghandi and people like that, or your mentor or me or everyone. No matter. The more you would be able to create experiences of quality. Okay? So it's very important. You don't have to go outside your comfort zone. It's a choice. If you want to grow, go outside your comfort zone. But . . . and it's very, very important to understand that you don't have to leave totally you comfort zone. Because for the brain, if you want to be at your top of the performance, you have to find the zone between the comfort zone and the uncomfort zone. And where we are at the top is between those two zones. It's a little bit comfortable. But it's a little bit uncomfortable. And in this zone, the brain performs at the top of his own level.
So it's very important. I don't have to do what I was . . . I don't have to do what is amazingly hard. I just have to do new things. And also do new things that I have a little fear about. If I understand this process, I will be able to grow faster and faster and faster. But you understand? You don't have to do big things. Just do small things everyday. But what is amazing is when I told my story to people five years ago and I was explaining them how I was doing that . . . and I was explaining them through my baby steps, through my small actions I will become self-confident, I will become at ease with videos, I will become at ease with public speaking, I will become at ease with money, I will become at ease with everything in my life. They was thinking, er, I don't believe in that. Why? Because I was doing small, small actions like raising my hand in my classroom or it was just speaking with someone unknown in the streets. And because they were saying it's too easy . . . for them it was not the right strategies. But it was a fantasy to believe that I was able to do big things. You have to understand that a baby step is defined only by you. What can be hard for you can be easy for me. What can be hard for me can be easy for you. For example, it's easy for me to do this video. I can speak easily. It's in English so it's a little bit harder. But I did more than 800 videos. So I'm used to be recorded. I'm used to speak. I do 150 events per year so I speak a lot. It's easy for me to speak about money.
I earn money. It's easy to speak about entrepreneurship. I have my own company. So I have many things it's easy for me. But for example, singing, it's not easy for me to sing. Erm, I had a bit of struggle to sing in my childhood and it was a lot of pain for me to sing in front of my classroom and I was shy .So for me today, it's not easy at all to sing. So I'm learning a little bit to sing by baby steps. For example, I can sing alone. And for me it's the first of year in my life of-, to sing alone. So it's a step. For a lot of people they would say it's nothing, it's easy. No matter what people think. The key is what do you think. And then my second step was to sing in front of my girlfriend and it was a big step for me. And I was very proud of being able to do that. But for the majority of people they would say, oh, it's too easy. You don't understand. I am just going outside of my comfort zone. Because each time I am going outside my comfort zone I open a door of new possibilities. I open a door to become someone different. I'm doing that not to have results, I'm doing that to become someone else. I am doing that to unleash who I am. To unleash my potential. And today it's so important to grow for me. It's so important to be an example of what I wish to see in the world. And because of that, I'm willing to go outside my comfort zone. Doing videos in English is a little bit of . . . erm, it's uncomfortable. But I'm doing that to inspire you and also to become someone else. Each new video, it's changing me more than doing nothing. Each time I go outside my comfort zone, I become someone else. And I love that: my ability to grow. We are able to define ourselves. We are able to decide who we will be in the future.
I'm able to define who I want to be in one year, who I want to be in 10 years and it begins now. It starts now. I have the choice to act as if I am confident in going outside my comfort zone. But with my own reason. I don't have to copy a big entrepreneur. I have just to find what is the right thing for me in the present and just go outside my comfort zone. And you know what are you afraid about. And you just have to say, “Can I do that?” Yes or no. If no, can I find something smaller to do it and I do it. When I find something I say I can do it. I'm a little bit afraid of . . . I do it. Why? Not for hiding the results, for becoming-, to become someone else. For example, I can ask new thing. For example, I train myself to say no. For example, I train myself to make-, to tell jokes. For example, I train myself to speak louder, to work differently, to wear clothes different. I . . . it's my responsibility to go outside my comfort zone each day a little bit, a little bit, a little bit. If one day you don't do that, it's okay. The next day come back and continue. The key is not to be disciplined . . . but it's very important to be disciplined but the key is to be persistent and to come back to do it again and again and again. Why? Not for the results. To become someone else. Because if you become the best version of yourself, you will have many results no matter what. I train myself to argue with people, to ask new questions, to dare to say new things. Yesterday again with the master in the hotel . . . I don't know how to say that and erm, the [French] in the hotel . . . I train myself to ask new things.
Why? Not to have the results but to get new things, to become someone. And because I am someone else, I can have new results. So it's your choice now to do something now and tomorrow and day after tomorrow, to do new things. Find something you can do and in comments now, give me five things you can do in this month to go outside of comfort zone. Give me in the comment five things you can do to go outside the comfort zone. It's not only about you. It's also about all the watch . . . all the people who will watch the video. If you say . . . if you put your comments in the video, you will inspire other people to do it. And we can draw together and then share the video. I am doing that freely. I can be paid to do the same things but I want to inspire millions of people. And to do that I need you. So if you love my work and if you enjoy to watch my videos, publish it, share it. Click here the button, share it. And do it because I am taking action for you so take action for the other people. Because if you saw my video it's because of someone who shared the video. So if you want to unleash, to spread the message out and participate to inspire the world with me, share the video. Okay? So take action. Do someone . . . do something new today and see you soon. Tomorrow I have a very important video for you.
